What systems do they have for obtaining business associates? 

Do they supply leads? What price? This could be a bottomless pit.

Is contacting friends and relatives high on the list?  

What about products? Any "magical claims" ? Any REAL research? 

Are products unique? 

Is product pricing competitive?  

What is monthly product purchase requirement? 

What real help do you get besides being able to purchase 

cds, dvds, catalogues sales brochures or an occasional meeting? 

How is the Internet used in the business?  Replicated websites? 

Answers to these questions are critical to your success and should be the focus of your due diligence. 

Questions have been answered for me.

Please do check everything out thoroughly because you really can waste a lot of your time, money and credibility with poor choices.
